Ixtapa enjoys a semi-tropical climate year round with temperatures ranging from 23 to 33 degrees Celsius (73-93 Fahrenheit). Summer highs are in the low 90s and winter highs are in the upper 80s. Rainy season is from June through September, but showers are usually brief and normally at night, so the sun shines nearly every day.
